Gil has returned to New York after a nineteen year absence. He now lives in Hudson Valley.
Gil is a published songwriter. Gil writes for all styles of music.
Songwriting credit: "Let's Hear Babies Cry" charted on Cash Box magazine.
Gil was band leader and arranger, for Lester Chambers (of the Chambers Brothers Band) in the middle 90's.. Played Soul rock, Blues, and the Chambers Brothers Hits.
Gil played with several show and road bands for many years, his reputation as a pocket player has led him to work with really great players and show venues throughout Nashville, Florida, and the south east.
Gil enjoys performing all the roots styles of music: Blues, R&B, Funk, Country, Folk, Rock, Latin rock, and so on..
Gil lived and worked as a musician/songwriter in Nashville Tennessee, for the last nine
years. There he played with many of the elite musicians and songwriters. Also backed up many of the new acts, "the aspiring newcomers" looking to make a name for themselves in Nashville.
